Paris… Again

The first time I visited Paris, I was a young lady excited to be ringing in her twenty first year in one of the most romantic city. Four years on, I accompanied a friend just a week to my birthday, and the nostalgia was great.

However, no longer was I the impressionable young adult that had dreamt of a romantic getaway in the city. I had already realised that as far as I was concerned, Paris wasn’t my idea of romance.

I say this knowing that I might just be one of the very few that hold this view. So forgive me, but I just don’t get why it’s supposed to be so romantic.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very beautiful and charming city. That, I agree, but beauty must not be mistaken for romance. Perhaps I’ll have to go again with a lover in order to make an informed judgement? 😀

That aside, I enjoyed my stay and visited Disneyland for the first time. I’ll be sharing my amazing experience on that soon. I’m a child at heart you know 🙂

For now, enjoy my snaps of lovely Paris.

P.S This post is 8 months late! (I travelled to Paris last July, but I’ve been inundated with so many posts, but it’s finally here!)

I was able to afford staying so close to the centre, about 20 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, by letting an apartment from airbnb.
