I can honestly say that I was impressed by most of the designers and collections at the show.

It was very inspiring to have had a first hand witness of what the African fashion industry has to offer. From modern and chic styles with African influences and aesthetics to the clean cut and Gothic impressions, the designers brought their A-game to Kensington Olympia where the fashion show was held.

To read a sum up of my experience at the Saturday’s show click here. Also, you can view my personal style choice to the event after rummaging through my closet to come up with something that both looked good and felt comfortable enough for me to run around in while doing interviews and taking pictures and video footage of the event.

Designer- RAAAH

Words that came to mind while viewing this collection was modern chic and daring! The models, cat walked to what I can only describe as bouncy music. It was a perfect fit. The crowd greeted the models and the designer at the end with high pitched cheers. It really was a brilliant and fierce collection!

The models show cased the designs cat-walking to afrobeats; and words that can be used to describe this collection are girly and lady-like.

Designer- Jazz Effect Designs

This was the best collection of the day as far as I’m concerned and it should have closed the show. I was blown away by the creativity in the designs and the sequins in every piece that gave it that extra sparkle and dazzle. Words that can be used to describe this line are playful, girly and diva!
